Homes for rent in Ninh Bình

Ask what the rent covers, how electricity and water are charged, how many months of deposit and when it is refunded, the lease length, how often rent can rise, who pays for repairs, and whether you can register residence or run a business. Ask to see papers showing the person is the owner or authorised by the owner.

Run the taps and test the lights, air-conditioning and water heater; check ceilings and wall bases for damp or mould; test the locks, fuse box and escape routes; visit at rush hour to see if the street floods or jams. Photograph the condition and note it in a handover record before moving in.

The deposit is agreed between both sides and varies by place. What matters is that the lease states the amount, when it is returned and what can be deducted. Never pay a deposit before viewing the home and signing a lease.
